1. Nature of Service

Hooptie Shield provides a vehicle protection plan designed to assist with certain vehicle repair costs.

All services are provided as a vehicle service contract, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions outlined below.

2. Eligibility

To use Hooptie Shield, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and truthful vehicle and personal information
  • Own or have authorization to register the vehicle

We reserve the right to approve or deny any vehicle for coverage at our discretion.

3. Coverage Plans

Hooptie Shield offers multiple protection plans, which may include:

  • Basic Plan – Limited coverage for essential components
  • Standard Plan – Expanded coverage for additional systems
  • Premium Plan – Broader coverage with higher limits

Each plan includes:

  • A maximum payout per claim
  • A maximum total payout per year

Specific coverage details are displayed at the time of purchase and within your account dashboard.

4. Payment Terms

  • Plans are billed on a monthly subscription basis
  • Payments are processed securely via a third-party payment processor
  • Failure to make payment may result in suspension or cancellation of coverage

All payments are non-refundable, except where required by law.

5. Waiting Period

A 30-day waiting period applies to all new plans.

  • Coverage begins only after this period
  • Claims submitted during the waiting period will be denied

6. Claims Process

To submit a claim, you must:

  • Provide a detailed description of the issue
  • Submit a valid repair invoice or receipt
  • Provide repair shop information
  • Submit any additional documentation requested

Hooptie Shield reserves the right to:

  • Approve or deny any claim
  • Request further verification
  • Inspect the vehicle or repair work
  • Pay repair shops directly or reimburse customers

7. Coverage Limits

All plans are subject to:

  • Maximum payout per claim
  • Maximum payout per 12-month period

Claims exceeding these limits will not be covered.

8. Exclusions

Hooptie Shield does not cover:

  • Pre-existing conditions or issues
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic damage (paint, dents, scratches)
  • Damage caused by neglect or lack of maintenance
  • Unauthorized or unverified repairs
  • Fraudulent or misleading claims
  • Modified or aftermarket components (unless approved)

We reserve the right to deny any claim that violates these exclusions.

9. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Maintain your vehicle according to manufacturer guidelines
  • Keep records of maintenance and service
  • Notify Hooptie Shield promptly of any issues

Failure to properly maintain your vehicle may result in denied claims.

10. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your plan at any time.

  • Coverage remains active until the end of the current billing period
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused time

Hooptie Shield reserves the right to cancel or suspend accounts for:

  • Fraud or abuse
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Non-payment

11. Limitation of Liability

Hooptie Shield's total liability is limited to:

  • The maximum coverage limits of your selected plan

We are not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Loss of income or business
  • Vehicle downtime or inconvenience

12. No Guarantee of Coverage

Hooptie Shield does not guarantee:

  • Approval of any claim
  • Coverage for all repair situations

All claims are subject to review, verification, and plan limitations.

13. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to:

  • Update or modify plans
  • Adjust pricing
  • Change features or coverage terms

Users will be notified of any significant changes.

14. Privacy
